Green field with one gravestone in foreground and a few bushes. The green grass has ripples caused by the landscape growing over the swales.

From this sign, a visible swale curves north and east across the cemetery. In the east side of the cemetery, near the Santa Fe Trail limestone marker, several swales are clearly visible running east-west.

Immediately west of the Santa Fe Trail crossing of Muddy Creek, several trail swales can be seen crossing the Tampa Cemetery. The ruts run generally east-west, from the Santa Fe Trail stone post marker, though the cemetery, the “Crosses Here” sign, and the stone monument at the southwest corner of the intersection of Limestone and 330 th Roads.
