The very Pullen & Geissler Store became Hotel Granite, with Doge's Clothing & Jewelry Store and a tailor shop just to the south. The tailor shop was recently remodeled and remains today, but Hotel Granite was replaced by the Palace of Sweets in the 1920s. For a period of time, the Granite Falls Post Office occupied the south end of the building, explaining the "Extra" front door. Remodeled in 2008, the building serves as a realty office today.
