15. Mt. Dickerman – Easily the most strenuous trail marked on this cyber-tour, you'll gain almost 4000 feet in this 4 ½ mile hike. With the trailhead a mile east of Big Four on the Mountain Loop Highway, the trail moves from dense forest into highland meadows, with the views growing bolder as you climb. The open summit provides views in all directions, and you can have great fun trying to identify the many visible Cascade peaks, each of which has a familiar name – Big Four, White Chuck, Forgotten, Stillaguamish, Glacier, and the many Monte Cristo peaks. Take care when exploring the summit ridge, however – the drops at the edge can be dangerous!
